Residents of Ndaragu village in Njoro were left in shock after a sick middle-aged woman vomited a dead rat. In the Wednesday, June 28, incident, the unwell woman said she started feeling uncomfortable at midnight and started vomiting in a basin. The mother of four narrated to Citizen TV that while throwing up, she started feeling something like an object stuck in her throat and forced it out. After lighting her torch at around 3am, the lady was shocked to find she had puked a dead rat. The lady’s father together with the village elder linked the incident to black magic.

They told journalists that someone had publicly differed with the woman and is suspected to be behind the strange occurrence.
